Ingredients

500g Beef Mince

1 Brown onion, very finely chopped or grated

1 Egg (optional)

1 tsp Dried thyme

1 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped

2 Garlic cloves, crushed

1 pinch Nutmeg

1 tbsp Chia seeds (optional)

1 pinch Salt (optional)

Extra virgin olive oil to fry

Method

  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together until well combined. If time allows, cover and leave in the fridge for flavours to infuse for around 10 minutes.
  • Take handfuls of the mixture and gently roll into small sausages. Continue with the remaining mixture.
  • Heat the oil in a frypan over medium heat. Cook your sausages in the pan, gently rolling until completely cooked through.
