Beef polpettone

Ingredients
500 g beef mince
1 cup fresh white breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic crushed
100 g shredded parmesan
0.25 cup chopped parsley
0.5 tsp cracked black pepper
Method
- Combine all ingredients. Roll into small balls ( approx. 30g each)
- Pan Fry 1. Heat 20ml oil in large frying pan over moderate heat. Cook polpettone for 10 minutes turning frequently until evenly browned and cooked through.
- Oven Bake 1. Preheat fan forced* oven to 180°C. 2. Bake polpettone on baking tray lined with baking paper for 15 minutes until cooked through. Serve immediately.
- Recipe note: *if using a conventional oven, you may need to increase temperature or allow additional cooking time.
Tips
- Serve with bowls of your favourite chutney.
